“…YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAMS…”
L. FRANK BAUM
Dear POTR Families,
We hope that you are all well during these unprecedented times. Our last production was our Annual Cabaret over a year ago and we wanted to update you on what is next for POTR, Inc.
When everything shut down in March 2020, we were in pre-production of our Spring show “On the Town.” Unfortunately, we had to cancel “On the Town” along with our two summer productions “Singing in the Rain Jr” and “42nd Street”. We hope to produce these shows at some point in the future but, we have decided to move on to other projects.
We would like to thank all of the people responsible for our very successful POTR at Home virtual classes. We truly appreciate all the time and effort that was put into those free workshops.
At this time our rehearsal facility, The Bates House in Setauket, is still temporarily closed. Please be assured that any facility we use moving forward will comply with state Covid-19 regulations.
We are in negotiations to rent a performance space for when we are up and running again and we will keep you posted as to where that is once it is solidified.
In addition, we have been speaking to different community organizations, as we continue to strive to make POTR, Inc. a safe space for all individuals.
Thank you for your continued support over the years and we look forward to bringing back our programs as soon as it is safe to do so.
Sincerely,
POTR Inc.
